Multi-platinum selling band Thirty Seconds To Mars have announced a massive European tour through spring 2018.
The band is considered one of the most exciting live shows in the world. Their incredible appearance at the MTV VMAs shocked viewers as the group's performance featured innovative infrared technology. In addition, the performance featured special guest star Travis Scott. Thirty Seconds To Mars performed the song “Walk on Water” - the first single of the future 5th studio album. Thirty Seconds To Mars were recently nominated for an MTV European Music Award for Best Alternative Band.
Thirty Seconds To Mars is Jared Leto and Shannon Leto. They have sold more than 15 million albums worldwide and play to packed houses and stadiums every year. They have received numerous awards, including a dozen MTV awards, a Billboard music award, and a Guinness World Record for the longest tour in history. On July 4th, the group, with the help of 90 film crews in all 50 states, filmed a documentary film - 'A Day in the Life of America'. The project captured American life in one full day. 'A Day in the Life of America' is expected to be released in 2018.

Despite the clouds and chilly wind, many fans lined up at the Olympic Stadium from the very morning. The launch, as always, was in the spirit of 30 Seconds to Mars concerts: crowds of people running, fences being torn down and complete chaos. But the lengths to which fans of the band are willing to go to be closer to the stage.
This tour features a completely new stage design with a 360-degree viewing angle, with fans occupying seats around it. The fanzone and dance floor were packed that evening.
Before the start of the show, VJ CHUCK came onto the stage and tried to get the audience to actively accept the heroes of the occasion and dance like it was the last time with his DJ set. Finally, he took a selfie in front of the crowd and announced that l(L)etto would be coming soon.
A short time passed before the stage was closed on all sides by an iron curtain. And then the very moment has come - the lights go out, the majestic intro begins to sound Monolith, and bright flashes of light quickly flash behind the curtain. Then it suddenly rises and forms a structure of three screens above the stage, which later became the main lighting option for it.
Unfortunately, the group does not perform in full force - guitarist Tomo Milisevic has personal problems that do not allow him to attend the concerts. Unfortunately, there is no information about his return. While Jared and Shannon play concerts without him, and the audience periodically chants during the concert: “Summer!”
Majestic intro Monolith replaced by incendiary Up in the air, which set the right tone for the entire concert, and towards the end, Jared made not only the audience in the fan zone, but also the photographers in the photo pit sit down. There is hardly anything impossible for him.
His requests that evening did not stop there. At one moment he asked to make sure that at least 500 people sat on their shoulders, at another he threw his hands in the air and asked to shout as loudly as possible. He knows how to control a crowd well. It’s not for nothing that the 30 Seconds to Mars show is often called a cult. The fans are willing to do what he asks. Sing smoothly? Yes. Turn on flashlights on phones? Yes. Jump up and touch the sky? No problem. This surprises and delights. It's nice that in the middle of the performance Kings & Queens Jared stopped the song after seeing the crush in the fan zone to ask how people were feeling, and also asked to take a step back, only then starting to sing the song again.
On Dangerous Night a special guest appeared on stage, who turned out to be the presenter Ivan Urgant, who is a longtime friend of the guys. He played along with them on guitar and joked about how nice it was to be on stage with a band that he actually created. Before Do or Die started, Jared invited two guys from the fanzone on stage to help him sing the song and pump people up, trying to see which side was singing louder. Still on tour Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams Tour He has a tradition during this song of coming out with the flag of the country in which the performance is taking place. And in this it continues, so Do or Die he performed with the Russian tricolor in his hands, also circling with it and waving it in different directions.
It's nice that the group hasn't forgotten about such classic songs from past albums as the incendiary Search & Destroy, militant This Is War, tender City of Angels, hypnotizing Pyres Of Varanasi, and, of course, Night Of The Hunter, which, thanks to Shannon’s masterful drumming and even crazy energy, sounds very majestic. The tracks from the new record fit very organically into the show, which is completely different from the band’s past works, but where would it be without experiments. Great Wide Open And Rider demonstrated the depth of Mr. Leto's voice, and Walk On Water sectors jumped up from their seats and began to dance. I personally have been listening to the group for 5 years, and this concert was already my ninth. I can say that over this long period my relationship with the group went through both the stage of love and the stage of hatred, or even all together. There was everything: joys, disappointments, travel, meeting people, a tattoo dedicated to the group, bright emotions and unforgettable moments. No matter what tense moments occur, no matter how you feel about it, once you get to the concert, you again feel like a follower of a cult, giving your soul to the music, feeling unity with everyone present in the hall.
